WHY WE NEED YOU
We are expanding services and looking for qualified people to provide direct care on a full time, part
time, casual or contract basis. We accept applicants with a high school diploma or Personal Support Worker Diploma;
however, we give preference to those with a Developmental Service Worker Diploma, Child and Youth Worker Diploma, and Social Services Diploma or degree.
Training is provided in areas such as Dual Diagnosis, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention,
Medication In-Service, Human Sexuality, Abuse Prevention, Behaviour Management, First Aid, and CPR.
WHAT WILL I DO?
The successful candidates will support individuals to live as independently as possible while providing consistant quality care according
to specialized behavioural and/or medical programs and personal needs. . possess
strong verbal communication skills, complete adm inistrative records,
and maintain good attendance.
