🧡 What an incredible moment for Kim and the Innisfil community!
We are so proud to see Kim’s hard work, advocacy and commitment to accessibility celebrated as Margaretta Park officially opens in Innisfil.
Kim has been part of the Innisfil Accessibility Advisory Committee and, along with fellow committee members and community partners, has helped champion the vision for a park where people of different abilities can play, participate and enjoy the space together. The result is Innisfil’s first enhanced wheelchair-accessible playground, with features designed to remove barriers and create more opportunities for everyone to belong.
For CLASS, it is especially meaningful to see Kim using her voice and lived experience to help create positive change beyond our organization and in her community. This park is a wonderful example of what can happen when people are included in the conversations and decisions that shape the places where they live.
Congratulations, Kim, and congratulations to everyone whose hard work and determination helped make Margaretta Park a reality. What an accomplishment — and what a legacy for the community! 💙
