Friendship
Friendship grows through connection, initiative, and spending time together. Bill’s story shows how a simple idea can bring people together and create opportunities for meaningful relationships to thrive.
Serving the South Simcoe area since 1962. New Tecumseth and surrounding townships of Essa, Adjala-Tosorontio, and parts of Bradford-West Gwillimbury and Innisfil.
“The Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) supports people with a developmental disability. CLASS is a non-profit, charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The agency was established in 1962 by a group of parents who wanted services in their own community for their children who had a diagnosis of a developmental disability.”
CLASS receives funding from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS). We rely heavily on additional donations and fundraising efforts to continue to offer our programs and services that are not funded by MCCSS.

The Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) is thrilled to share the success of our 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at Lebovic Golf Club.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners, the tournament welcomed a sold-out field of 132 golfers and raised more than $80,000 to help create opportunities for people at CLASS to pursue their goals, build meaningful connections, and participate fully in community life.
The day was filled with great golf, beautiful weather, wonderful food, and a shared commitment to making a difference throughout our community. From our Lead Sponsor, New Phase Staffing Inc., to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and participant, each contribution helped make this event a tremendous success.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Lebovic Golf Club for their outstanding hospitality and continued partnership in hosting this annual event.
Events like our Charity Golf Tournament play an important role in helping CLASS continue to foster personal journeys and build an inclusive community where everyone is valued and has the opportunity to thrive.
Following another sold-out tournament, we’re excited to announce two CLASS golf events for 2027!

Community Living Association for South Simcoe acknowledges that the land where we provide our services is the traditional land of the Anishinaabek Nation, which includes Ojibwe, Odawa and Pottawatomi Nation, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. We recognize that the Huron-Wendat, Chippewa and Haudenosaunee Nations have walked on this territory over time. We acknowledge that this land is covered by The Lake Simcoe-Nottawasaga Treaty, or Treaty 18, which was made between the Chippewas near Lake Simcoe (the current Chippewas of Rama First Nation, Chippewas of Beausoleil First Nation, and the Chippewas of Georgina Island) and the colonial government of Upper Canada on October 17, 1818. We are dedicated to honouring indigenous history and culture and committed to moving forward in the spirit of reconciliation and respect with all First Nation, Metis and Inuit people.
