Skilled Hands at Work

Aaron loves hockey! So, he set out on a snowy day with his staff support Alex to purchase the wood for his latest project. With a vision in mind, Aaron aimed to build an equipment stand to organize and hang his hockey gear off.

Over a week, Aaron, with the help of his staff, poured his skills into creating a beautiful and functional stand for his ball hockey equipment. His craftsmanship was a testament to his excellent use of tools, a trait he had nurtured from his Banting Highschool days when he enrolled in a woodworking course. “I learned back in school about woodworking and tool use”, Aaron said.

Aaron’s passion for crafting extends beyond his love for hockey. Aaron revealed his next endeavour: “I am going to build a bedframe so it sits higher off the ground so I can store stuff under my bed”. Way to go Aaron for having a vision and making it a reality.

As Aaron proudly showcased his newly crafted equipment stand in use (see photo), he announced that he joined the New Tecumseth Ball Hockey League this spring. He is looking forward to starting and meeting new friends.

With each project, Aaron continued to demonstrate his creativity, skill, and unwavering determination to turn his ideas into reality. His journey of woodworking not only enhanced his living space but also reflected his drive and passion for creating functional, personalized solutions. Cheers to Aaron for his dedication, vision, and the remarkable creations that come from his skilled hands.
